- CCF helps faith-based and community organizations increase their
effectiveness and enhance their ability to provide social services
by building their organizational capacity. CCF works through
intermediary organizations that serve as a bridge between the
Federal government and faith-based and community organizations.
Intermediary organizations provide technical assistance and
capacity-building sub-awards.
- CCF’s Communities Empowering Youth program seeks to build the
capacity of faith-based and community groups working to combat gang
activity and youth violence. CCF also awards one-time
capacity-building grants of $50,000 directly to faith-based and
community organizations.
